Darn computers. Been having "issues" with my flea market laptop. Hard drive is going out so I tried to "clone" to a new/used drive. I have to dual boot XP/Linux. I'd dump XP if I could but there are 1 or 2 things I still can't do in Linux. It takes 5 minutes to boot XP. About a minute to boot Linux.

Anyways, cloning my HD failed. So I've been gone for a few days.

I saw a great political cartoon the other day. Can't remember who drew it or where it came from but it basically showed Bush walking from Air Force 1 to the General saying "Sorry it took me speech writers so long, here is your report". The Caption "The real reason why Bush was in Iraq".

It was my wife's birthday over the weekend. As she requested we did nothing. Originally, we were going out to dinner but we could not settle as to where. So as the day slipped by we finally settled on Curry Chicken at home.

The snails have all but stopped their insane sex activities. We wondered what the deal was. at first I thought they ran out of booze or smokes but that does not seem to be the issue. Than I figured all those free samples of Viagra I've collected over the years were being dropped into the fish bowl by my wife, ( for some reason she won't allow me to use the stuff ) but there still in the little pill bottle so that wasn't the case either.

Than on a whim I decided to check the water temps. Sure enough it had dropped from 82 degrees to 76 degrees. Which is obviously to cold for snail sex. Wow, who says you can't learn new stuff.

The drifters are on a diet. Told you about them asking for menus. Well we cut back on the feeding routine. Went from 4 times per day to 2. Now they eat all the food provider and not so picky.

I had bought some speakers at the local flea market a month or so ago. Upon hooking them up I discovered they were not very good and had issues. The seller agreed to refund the speakers.

Which he did yesterday. Than he turned around and sold them to another buyer. I found it interesting how he could so easily sell known defective items. Oh well buyer beware.
