So Bush and Congress have the plan to stimulate the economy and keep us from going into a recession. By giving us tax refund checks we'll than cash them and spend them in our local Walmarts making the local stores feel that we're back.
I suspect those who are facing foreclosure on their homes may be thinking of spending those tax refunds somewhere else. Than there's the poor. I suspect the tax refund won't be very much if anything at all. So the economic stimulus package will stimulate the wealthy and not have any effect on the poor.
But wait!! Think about this a little more. We're going into a recession because we were so easily conned by Real Estate professionals, Mortgage Companies and Builders with a false, over inflated housing market boom that was left unmanaged and allowed to turn into the disaster we now have with housing starts at an all time 30 year low. Banks and lending institutions posting record breaking quarterly losses. All due to an overly inflated false market. Plus more Americans being foreclosed on than any other part in our nations history.
So Bush and Company plan to combat the effects of the false housing bubble by stimulating the economy by giving the people a tax rebate. Basically creating a, (notice the word here), "false" sense of security throughout the nation.
I don't know about any of you, but Mom always said "two wrongs do not make a right"................
