OK, being stuck at home does have its moments. In can be tolerable if setup well. For instance some great people at one of the hi end audio sites helped me set up a really nice sounding stereo system. I'm not talking Emerson here. It is really nice to tune into a cd and really hear what the music sounds like. I can't believe how much I was missing with the old stereo. Its like listening to all new music as I go through my old cd collection. Those guys were/are great!

Than theres the folks who IM me every now and than from around the country. You never know what crazy message may pop up on my screen. I use to partake in this disabled chat group but after 4-5 years I've figured out that I just don't fit in. I just don't have the issues these folks have. Yes, it is true that I've got my big yellow wheelchair, but its the disabled part that just doesn't seem to work. Bottom line is I'm just not disabled enough to consider myself disabled. Yes, I've got the arthritis in the shoulder that has slowed me down. And it is true my carpel tunnel has returned. But its the extra 50 pounds thats really the problem. Drop back to my all time 30 year weight of 135 and I'd be a normal shut in stuck at home :)

Still looking for something I can drive. Folks around here hold on to their vehicles way to long. Been looking around on Craig's list but nothing that I could afford. I'd still like to find a Jeep Wrangler that I could stick an external ramp on the back. That would be ideal for me. Speaking of Craig's List, its a great way to look at an area you may be considering moving to. Look at El Paso, Tx for instance. Go to the free section. People in El Paso give away cardboard boxes. How cool is that? Now go look at Brattleboro, Vt. Again the free section. These folks are giving away piano's! And believe me a piano trumps a cardboard box every time. Its not what is being offered thats important. Its showing the economic state of that area. Since we are looking to move out of the brown desert, this is one handy way to judge an area.

Most of the Christmas stuff has been put away. Next year we will be going with the "Endangered Species Christmas" I want to collect little animals over the year to hang on the tree. No not real animals! So if ya see any little endangered animals in your travels grab us one or two. Not the real ones!!

We've got a cat here now. I know, I said absolutely no cats, but its here. I trained it to come when called. We're working on sit and roll over. Its name is/was Baby which just wouldn't do. So we started calling it Baby Binks because it looks like the cat in the Disney movie Hocus Pokus a Halloween favorite around here. But since we've been talking about moving to the NE and I refuse to call this think Baby, I've taken the liberty to rename and train it. It now responds to Ichabod, or Icky for short. Of course Icky's righful owner will just need to get use to the new name. Perhaps Icky will tell her.

Here Icky, Icky, Icky..........................
