For all you perverts out there I have bad news. We lost one of the snails. The desert has finally cooled down and the temperature in the house has dropped considerably. The water temp in the snails bowl also dropped. Friday we found one of the horny snails laying on its side. No manner of stimuli caused it to move. So my wife in her scientific way determined that it indeed was dead. After the autopsy I had no doubt in my mind that indeed it was dead.

Than yesterday, we noticed that the other horny beast was not responding either. However, after removing it from the water we did notice a slight movement so we set it in with the drifters and goober. ( we lost the last 2 Tetras yesterday ) Lucky for Mr/Ms. ( I have no clue how you sex a snail ) Snail we dropped him into the warmer waters because 15 minutes later he was crawling all over the place. Thats when my wife said " I hope the other snail was dead " Of course it was dead, especially after she ripped it out of its shell and ran her fingers through its innards.
