Howdy Warren, and thanks for the well wishes. James, where are you?

Its been hot. Very hot. Triple digits multiple days in a row. Our air conditioner is working overtime. I still don't know why people live in the desert. Its not a very nice place. After a few years, those that live here start looking like the desert. Their skin turns the same shade of brown as the land. Deep lines and cracks form. Attitudes become somewhat off. Eventually, if you live here long enough you become a desert rat.

My butts been bothering me lately. Not fund when you spend most of your time on it. You would think with that $400 cushion I sit on that I would not feel a thing but I do. Not liking the option either. I can sit and have that dull ache, or lay in bed and do nothing. Not ready for the bed routine.

After the successful repair of the PSP I decided to up the anti. I picked up several broken PSP's from the internet junk store ( EBay ) and will be attempting to put them together and create one PSP. It will be interesting if I can build one for less than $20. Plus if it all works out Ian will have something to do when we travel up to northern New Mexico to check out the posibilities of relocating to a cooler climate. We are still looking at Vermont and Oregon as possibilities. we both are tired of moving so want to make this our final move. One of our biggest issues with our current living arraingments besides my more than obvious dislike of the desert and the browness of everything is in this area the "poor" are really really poor. The baseline is calculated by 1 illegal immigrant having one anchor child and no job. The anchor child is entitled to a monthly amount of $372 dollars. So, when the county assesses needs they start at $372 dollars and work up. This is the poorest part of the state and in reality our fixed income makes us well off. So we need to find an area where the annual income is higher if that makes any sense.

We've got a house full of children so I'm not doing well in the focus department. I'll be back.........
