Winter is finally here, yea!!!!! Woke up the other morning to 30 degrees. Nice cool air coming in the bedroom window. Wind chill had hit 16 degrees, sure glad I wasn't outside. Glad it isn't hot any more.

I'm all healed up from the operation. Saw the surgeon for my follow up. He was happy to see I was doing well. Was a bit concerned due to the condition of my gall bladder. Seems it had died at some point part had rotted away the rest was gangress and filled with puss. Sounds really nasty :)

Now that we have President Elect Obama I wonder if on his first official night in the White House if he'll wake up in the wee hours of the morning wander into the Lincoln bedroom and say, " Well Abe, we made it " It seems fitting.

I see that change Obama spoke of is already in the works. Why just yesterday I read how Obama plans to use Presidential Signing statements to speed up his recovery plan. By passing Congress in an effort to get us back on our feet.

Funny isn't that how the last Administration did it for the past 8 years.

I guess the real change is the signature.....
