When I was growing up I had a whole list of things I wanted to be. One of which was President of the United States. Of course back than the reason for such a lofty goal was pretty simple. The President gets to fly in really cool airplanes and helicopters.
The President in my early view was the only person who could make things right. Of course the news was on past my bed time so perhaps my views were a tad innocent.
Look at those great Presidents we learned of. Washington set the course of our new young nation. Lincoln with the ink of his pen freed the slaves. Kennedy sent us to the Moon, Even Nixon at least had the decency to not drag the country through a lengthy and bitter impeachment process. I'm sure all of these had their faults and some people disliked them during their terms as President. ( we know Booth wasn't a happy camper, that is for sure )
I just can't help but wonder if any kids today dream of becoming President? If they do I guess they are learning early how to be cold calculating and tell good lies.

I didn't win the big lottery again!! Glad I didn't blow my dollar on a ticket. Can I sue Ed McMhan and Publishers Clearing House. The anxiety of waiting for Ed to show up at my door with that bigger than life check has made it hard for me to go to work.
If your against illegal activities that makes you a racist. I want to apologist to all the Muggers, rapist, murderers, and child molesters and anyone else doing illegal acts for my racist attitudes towards you. If I should ever see any of you who do illegal acts mothers, sisters, or relatives being raped or murdered or any other illegal act, I'll be sure not to allow my racist attitudes to interfere. I am so ashamed of my racist attitude.
Glad I got that off my chest...............
